"User have added the license file to Flex LM on our license server. User installed the software and pointed it to the server and the software loads without issues. User assumed this meant the license file is working fine but get the following error when running the license test. User have attached the Report too."

Solution: The error message seen from the License Test arises because there is a difference in the License Pack version between the license server and the client machine (NDW1919).
The version on NDW1919 is version 2021 while that on the license server machine and install is older. Materials Studio 2021 has updated FLEXlm libraries in the License Pack software. This was a request from customers to improve security but it also imposes the requirement that the license server and client machines must be running the same License Pack version. This was always a recommendation but now the License Pack enforces this as a requirement. It means that if user license server is not also where Materials Studio is installed user should update , then updation of the License Pack version on the license server, to the License Pack 2021 version is required as an additional step.
User license server is a Windows machine. The installer for License Pack 2021 can be found in the LicensePack subfolder of the Windows Materials Studio installer (after user unzip the downloaded package is unzipped). This LicensePack folder also contains a pdf with the LicensePack installation guide with the steps to install the LicensePack on Windows.
After installing the 2021 License Pack version on the license server please reinstall the FLEXlm license file to make sure that it is picking up the new version.
