License Server
CAVA uses Flexnet licensing.
Licenses are available as type nodelocked or floating.
To use floating licenses you need to install a Flexnet license server. (lmgrd or lmadmin)
The Flexnet license server software and the required TRANSCAT vendor daemon component can be downloaded here from the TECHNIA website:Detailed instructions and a trouble shooting guide can be found in the document:

You may request CAVA licenses directly with this web form.
Select the product version (V5 or V6) and the requested license type (floating or nodelocked) and other details like the license server Host-ID of your license server.
In case of nodelocked license provide the Host-ID of your client machine.To get the Host-ID for your license server please follow this instructions:

You can download CAVA here from the TECHNIA website.• Select the product type (CAVA V5 or CAVA V6)
• Select the version It is recommended to use the latest version that is available for your CATIA Release Version.
From the presented list of downloads, you can download an installer package (.exe) or a zip package and as well Release Notes and the Installation Manual.CAVA Installation
CAVA follows the standard procedures for CATIA CAA Application installations.

CAVA for 3DExperience Cloud:
CAVA is “ready for the cloud”.
Download the installation package as a zip files and follow the installation instructions specific for the 3DExperience Cloud in section 2.5.App registration (3DExperience only)
To make the CAVA App available in the 3D compass, CAVA needs to be registered once in the platform manger on the 3DExperience server (Admin only).
