With the key combination Windows + Pause you start the Control Panel \ System.
Click here on the link "Advanced System Settings".
A new window "System Properties" opens.
Click here on the tab "Advanced" on the button [environment variables ...]
At the bottom of the system variables, please click on the button [New ...]
For a nodelock license, enter the variable name TRANSCAT_LICENSE_FILE in the "Name of the variable:".
For "Value of variables:" enter the value of a folder where a license file was saved
and confirm with [OK]

Example: TRANSCAT_LICENSE_FILE C:\Licenses

Confirm with OK. To ensure please restart Windows

Finally, copy the nodelock lic file into the directory where the variable TRANSCAT_LICENSE_FILE points to.
