How can I download SOLIDWORKS?

Primary solution:
Create a login to SOLIDWORKS’s Customer Portal (https://customerportal.solidworks.com/). This portal is not only for downloading installation media, but you are also able to access the Knowledge Base for SOLIDWORKS. This can be handy for troubleshooting purposes, guidelines and general workarounds. Of course we are here to serve you regarding any problems you might have, but we see a clear synergy effect when customers also are familiar with this. In addition to this you are able to find CAD Admin Dashboard, which gives you a great insight into your current install base with SOLIDWORKS. You can check which computers have installed SOLIDWORKS, which versions that has been installed, stability issues on the computers, and benchmark performance and setup. Alternative solution:
A supplemental site to the Customer Portal is MySOLIDWORKS.com (https://my.solidworks.com/). This page will also give you a link to the download-area. However, for this site the goal has also been to collect all information from various forums, user groups, YouTube channels etc. You will be able to download 3dmodels, access training videos etc.

IMPORTANT: For both the CustomerPortal and MySOLIDWORKS an infinite number of end users are able to create their own individual accounts. However, a valid SOLIDWRKS serial number might be needed in order to reveal full access.

Backup solution:
Technia will also host our own download solution, as a backup solution for customers. In addition to this, we are able to keep an archive of older releases, if customers for some reason need an older release than the three most recent releases from SOLIDWORKS. For the two sites above, only the three most recent releases will be available, which per now is: 2020, 2019 and 2018. Raise a ticker for more information.
