EN: CATIA V5 – Using a CAC license

Question:

Why can't I use CATIA V5 with my CAC license? Why am I not offered the CAC license in the license selection?

Answer:

The corresponding installation packages for the CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 media are probably still missing in your CATIA installation.

Please check in the Software Management of your CATIA installation, e.g. Software Management V5-6R2024, whether the configurations of the PLM Express media are already installed.

The configuration CAC - CATIA - CATIA Team PLM Configuration must also be located under Installed Software - Installed Configurations.

If this is not listed, CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 media have not yet been installed and you still need to install them. You can add the media to your existing CATIA V5 P2 installation (mixed installation).
