EN: DSLS server update

It is recommended to install the latest DSLS (DS License Server) release.

Minimum requirement for using a current Dassault Systèmes product is a DSLS Server Release that matches the year of the respective product release e.g. CATIA V5-6R2024 requires at least DSLS License Server Release 2024x. Older CATIA releases with DSLS licensing will still be functional.

Please note the supported operating systems according to the information in the Program Directories:

Virtual machines are supported only with a Windows Server cluster.

Network card teaming is not supported.

Update

Uninstall the old DS License Server via the Windows Control Panel.

Install the new DS License Server by running the DSLS.msi file (you will need administrator permissions during the installation process).

Make sure that the option "Install Server from scratch..." is NOT selected, so that the existing licenses are taken over during the update!
