EN: Remote access / connection CATIA V5 with DSLS licenses

Remote access is the connection of a computer from a mobile location to the company network, e.g. with VPN access.

With this type of connection it is possible to access data and Dassault licenses in the company network.

Another option is to access a company computer via a remote desktop connection (RDP) and control this computer. The existing Dassault products can be used without any extra installation effort.

Please note that computer-bound licenses (Nodelock licenses) cannot be used for remote access. However, this restriction does not apply to server licenses (concurrent or shareable licenses).

Note: To use DSLS server licenses, it is necessary to allow the licensing TCP port 4085 in the firewall and on any proxy server used.
