EN: Import a CATIA V5 DSLS nodelock License

Save the LIC file from your license email into a temporary directory on your computer (e.g. C:\TEMP).

Please close all CATIA V5 sessions.

Check if the following directory exists:

C:\ProgramData\DassaultSystemes\Licenses

If it does not exist (which is the case for a new installation), please create the corresponding sub folder Licenses in C:\ProgramData\DassaultSystemes.

Start the CATIA Nodelock Key Management via: Windows Start Menu => All Programs => CATIA/Tools/Nodelock Key Management V5-6R20xx (Right-click ‘Run as administrator’)

(xx is a placeholder for your CATIA release, but at least V5R21) If you have several CATIA installations, an entry affects all other installed CATIA releases.

Choose the menu ‘File/Import’, select the LIC file from the temporary directory and import it.

Note regarding licence renewals:

If an error message appears when importing a license renewal, this may be because the old license has not yet been deleted. After the old license has expired, please delete it via the menu item ‘File/Clean Expired Licenses’ (see also image above). The new renewed license can then be imported as described above.

DSLS nodelock licenses can’t be used by a remote desktop connection!
