EN: CATIA V5 Mixed installation

I. CATIA V5 Mixed installation
(here using the example of an existing CATIA P2 Solutions installation and an additional CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 license CAC):

1.) Download the CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 software from https://software.3ds.com/ and unzip all partial downloads into the same folder

2.) If a Hotfix is installed: Uninstall the Hotfix of the existing CATIA P2 installation

3.) Install the CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 GA media in the same folder where CATIA P2 is installed

4.) Reinstall the same Service Pack as before (PLM Express - GA and P2 - SPx currently still have different versions)

5.) If necessary, install a previously installed Hotfix (see 2.)

This means that P2 licenses (e.g. MD2) and CAC licenses can both be used with this mixed installation in the future.

II. CATIA V5 mixed installation, if no P2 installation is available yet:

1.) Download the CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 software from https://software.3ds.com/ and unzip all partial downloads into the same folder

2.) Install the CATIA P2 Solutions GA media

3.) Install the CATIA PLM Express Edition 3 GA media into the same folder where P2 was previously installed

4.) Install the desired Service Pack (P2 and PLM Express share the same SP media)

5.) If necessary, install a Hotfix (in this case, the previously installed SP must be commited first)
