This article should help you to revoke and grant roles to members of a tenant correctly.

Prerequisite

You have to be logged in as with administration rights to the 3DExperience Cloud Tenant.
Go to the Platform Management App. In the Members tab of the Members Control Center the following option should be set:

Select a member to whom you want to add/remove a Role by clicking on “ i ”

now you see all licenses granted to this User and if possible you can remove a role from this member by unchecking the box at the front.
or
ungrant license and keep the role by using the slide control

licenses can’t be ungranted if:

Klick on the View all Button to see all not granted License
now you see all the Licenses which are booked to your Tenant and you can add the one you want to assign to the member by checking the box at the in front.

on the first use the license will be locked to the user for 30 days

now you see all members granted to this Role and if possible you can remove a role from this member by unchecking the box in front.
To Add a member to this role click on View all and then select the dedicated members by checking the box in front
