EN: 3DExperience session Login Issues Inside Solidworks

 Problem

Occasionally 3DExperience session will time out while parts are still being made

 Solution

  1. Close all running applications

  2. Exit 3DEXPERIENCE PLM Services from the taskbar

  3. Verify, via Task Manager, that the following processes are not active (A). sldworks.exe (B). sldProcMon.exe (C). swCefSubProc.exe (D). EdmServerV6.exe (E). java.exe (F). ENOUSWCOpen.exe (G). ENOUSWCStart.exe

  4. Clear Cache ( take backup and delete everything inside this folder)

  • A. %localappdata%\DassaultSystemes\CATTemp

  • B. %localappdata%\SolidWorks

  • C.'%localappdata%\SolidWorks\swcefcache

  • D. '%appdata%\DassaultSystemes\CATSettings

  1. Use Chrome / Firefox , clear browse cache (Ctrl + Shift + Delete)

  2. Open the Compass.

  3. Click the 3DSpace app.

  4. Activate a collaborative space, such as 'Common Space', by double-clicking on it.

A). If you see more than one platform, click to select a Collaborative Space from the same platform as your 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS role.

B). If you do not see any Collaborative Spaces and you cannot create a new Collaborative Space, please contact your Platform Administrator. Once you are added to a Collaborative Space, proceed to Step 8.

  1. Delete the following folder from the machine - '%temp%\swcefcache'

10. In the Compass, click the SOLIDWORKS Connected app.

SOLIDWORKS Connected should now launch without an error.
